The exhibition presents over three decades of work by artist Damián Ortega (Mexico City, 1967), one of the leading figures of his generation. Moving between photography, video, sculpture, and installation, Ortega invites the public to re-examine everyday materials and objects to investigate social, economic, and political narratives. In his iconic sculptural practice, he disassembles objects, such as cars, reorganizing their parts and displaying them in new configurations. This same approach of rearrangement appears in works where he arranges tools, stones, or bricks in suspended assemblies. The reorganization of these objects into spatial diagrams is often charged with humor and political and social commentary. The exhibition highlights key works from his career and a selection of pieces that investigate aspects of Brazilian architecture. This show marks Ortega's first solo exhibition at a museum in São Paulo.
All temporary exhibitions at MASP offer accessibility resources, with free admission for people with disabilities and their companions. We offer accessible tours in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), audio-described tours, and tours adapted for audiences with intellectual disabilities and autism; texts and labels in large print; and audiovisual productions with narration, subtitles, and Libras interpretation that describe and comment on the spaces and artworks. These materials can be used by people with and without disabilities, including school groups, teachers, and the general public. They are available on the museum's website and YouTube channel.

Large-print text and label booklets
The accessible booklets contain all exhibition texts and labels in large print, as well as instructions on the exhibition rooms, the layout of the works, flow and circulation, and a brief description of the space. Physical copies are available for use during your visit, and the digital PDF version can be accessed via QR code.
