Lina Bo Bardi Building

Spanning photography, installation, video, performance, and drawing, the work of Carolina Caycedo (born in London, UK, 1978) serves as a meeting point for knowledge and practices ranging from contemporary art to ancestral riverine wisdom and the resistance strategies of Latin American social movements. Caycedo’s career has been shaped by multiple migratory experiences that inform her practice, reflecting the symbolic and cultural relationships we form with the world. Often working collaboratively, the artist seeks to reconstruct a communal memory of the commons, encompassing everything from urban public spaces to rivers and mountains. The exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of her work, featuring recent creations developed within the Brazilian context in dialogue with other Latin American contexts and their diasporas. The title refers both to the convergence of waterways and the meeting of people, ideas, and cultures.

All temporary exhibitions at MASP offer accessibility resources, with free admission for people with disabilities and their companions. Tours in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) or descriptive tours are available upon request via email at acessibilidade@masp.org.br; texts and labels in large print, and audiovisual content with audio description, subtitles, and Libras interpretation. All materials are available on the museum's website and YouTube channel and can be used by people with or without disabilities, school groups, teachers, non-literate individuals, and anyone interested, whether on spontaneous visits or those accompanied by the MASP team.

Large-print text and label booklets
Accessible booklets contain all exhibition texts and labels in large print, as well as instructions on the exhibition rooms, artwork layout, flow and circulation, and a brief description of the space. Physical booklets are available for use during your visit, and the digital PDF version can be accessed via QR code. With a screen reader, you can listen to all the textual content of the exhibitions.
Audiovisual content
Featuring narration, audio description, subtitles, and Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) interpretation, developed from curatorial texts to provide an overview of the exhibition.
